From the start of our journey together, as an experienced marriage celebrant I will guide you throughout the entire wedding process from the legals, to crafting your personal ceremony, to your wedding rehearsal and finally bringing it to life on your wedding day, I will be right beside you with support, inspiration and guidance. Ensuring that your ceremony reflects your style, personal love story and overall vibe for your tropical wedding .
What Happens After We Book?

Once you’ve confirmed your booking, I’ll email you the detailed process from start to ‘We’re Married!.
We’ll start with the legalities—filing the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM)—which can be done up to 18 months in advance up to one month before your wedding.
If you’re local, we can meet for coffee to complete the NOIM and verify your IDs. If you’re planning from afar, simply have it witnessed and scanned, along with ID copies.
After that, we can communicate via phone, email, in-person, or video chat—whatever suits you best!

It’s time to start thinking about your wedding ceremony and what the two of you want – my job is to make it happen!
This section includes a comprehensive information and inspiration page, which breaks down everything you need to know (including ideas for vows, ceremony structure and other unique touches you might like to include).
Here, you’ll find a Couples Questionnaire that helps me get the juicy details and best bits of your relationship to celebrate during your ceremony personal to make it uniquely yours.
I will also share and guide you with Hot Tips for Writing Vows, a guide to put you at ease and get your creativity flowing.
From here we can catch up by phone, email, in person or video chat – I work around you.

If you are travelling to the tropics for your destination wedding, when you arrive we can catch up in person to say hi, finalise the legals and have a relaxed run through of the ceremony so that you feel comfortable and can enjoy your upcoming wedding.

Arriving a half-hour before the ceremony starts, I’ll set up my equipment ( PA, signing table, paperwork), check-in and say hi to all the other wedding vendors, and share a wave of warm welcomes with your arriving guests.
Need a buttonhole buddy or a calming presence? I’ve got you covered!
Once everyone is settled, I’ll dish out the lowdown on any requests you’ve got, from photo ops to social media shoutouts, all while keeping the vibe relaxed and happy.
Then it’s off to my office to officially register your marriage with BDM QLD.
